Joye graduated from Peking University in 2009. She has several years work experience within pharmaceutical industry. By focusing on the pharmaceutical projects with her in-depth understanding on China's pharma policies and pharma enterprises, she joined Business Research Limited as a project manager since 2016.

With the interdisciplinary background in pharmacy and business, Yu has extensive experience in life sciences enterprises in Sweden and China including Big Pharma, Start-up, MedTech, Consulting Firm and Incubator. Yu started working in BRL Stockholm Office since 2017, and now relocated to BRL Beijing Office.


Yuan Peng graduated from the IT Department of Beijing Normal University, and joined Business Research Limited since 2005. She is the employee who stayed longest in BRL right now. With her extensive administrative and supportive skills, she assists BRL coordinating several issues that facilitate the company running smoothly over years.

Over the last 20 years Niklas has amassed wide-spread experience, with a continuous special interest in executive medicine, starting with a master thesis in Global Medicine in 1996-1998, clinical work all over the world 2005-2015, entrepreneur in a medical startup 2010-2015, and thereafter clinical specialist work. AUTHORIZATIONS Registered medical specialist doctor in Sweden, Switzerland, Denmark, Norway, Spain and France. Also worked as a locum GP in Australia and in the UK. Worked one whole year as a maritime doctor on circumnavigating world cruises, with US working visa. Several language diplomas.

Sinologist, diplomat, banker. Having pursued China studies at Uppsala (B.A.) and London S.O.A.S. (M.A.), Rutger was admitted to Sweden’s Foreign Service, in which he was posted to its Embassy at Beijing 1974 through 1976 and Jakarta 1976 to 1978. Then, at the Ministry, he worked on international nuclear matters incl. non-proliferation (1978-80) followed by international debt restructuring (The Paris Club) through the 1980’s debt crisis until 1986, at which time he was recruited to SEB to head its country risk analysis team. In 2001 he advised on the restructuring of the international debt of the Government of the Republic of Moldova which was successfully concluded in 2007. At the same time he has been advising Swedish business, such as Saab and Volvo, on international matters, supported by his own country risk early warning system MIEWS (Macro Intelligence Early Warning System).
